This assignment was a collaborative project with fellow designer, Amy Felix Dang, where at the city's request, we were given the responsibility to redesign their brand and environmental applications like public signage.
This new logo concentrated on modernistic and contemporary influences in order to develop a fresh appearance in comparison to the logo that was in current use. It was concentrated towards accommodating to certain features which the client requested such as their motto, "best climate on earth", helped to steer the art direction properly. To further build the brand for the city variations of abstractions from the main logo were utilized to the city public art designs: light poles, banners, construction fence wrappings, electrical boxes, and bus stop benches. There actions were made in order to keep the city's designs diverse.
